It was a weekend, and not my payday. I needed gas to get him to the hospital. Payday loan saved his life. The infection was going to his brain and within 4 hours, the doctors said he could have been dead. We got him there in time. They had to do some oral surgeries as well as a tube in his trachea, because he couldnt breathe. He is alive today because of the Payday Loan Company that was open that day.

The goverment needs to remember that when people use a check advance store, it's their choice,they are not being forced by anyone! Check advance services are less expensive than what banks charge for a bounce check.If you bounce a $10.00 check at the bank they will charge you up to $35.00 just in nsf fees AND they will keep charging you over and over until it's paid. So, let's see here ,go borrow $50.00 from a Payday Lending store and pay ONLY a $4.00 fee for the use of $50.00 for 7 days to cover that $10.00 check or just let the banks keep charging those nsf fees. Don't take away the ONLY help we have!!!!! We need to remember, America, "LAND OF THE FREE" Don't change it to Land of the NO CHOICE!!!!!!

I have alot of health proublems & rely on the cash advance to get my medications when something comes up before I get paid. I have a low income and its eaiser to pay 10% than it is to pay $35.00 for over draft charges & it looks bad to have overdraft charges all the time. It is hard to believe that our legislators could be considering bills to limit or eliminate the lenders who are able to service those of us who are unable to use traditional sources. Washington state recently did this, with the result that payday loan stores in the state are having to close. So the net result is in addition to people who need help not being able to get it, they are also putting people out of work. This is incomprehensible and irresponsible.

If it wasn't for payday advances I would've been homeless, without food, without gas to get to work, and without electricity. These loans have saved me so many times and the government is trying to take that away from me? America’s working class is already in a tough spot and this law will make us even worse off. When I am in need of quick cash to fix my car or an unexpected doctor bill or unexpected emergency trip home I can always get a payday loan. I control how long I will keep it for. I am an adult, I know how to handle my finances. Not all of us are so lucky to have generous credit card lines or get fairly treated at banks when we need quick cash. Lets face it. Banks are not going to give us loans when we are in a pinch. They humiliate us and then turn us down. Payday lenders are always there with a smile. I am very grateful for payday lenders.

When my husband had emergency open heart surgery at age 41, he was out of work for about 5 months. Subsequently, he has had several more surgeries in the past few years and is currently unemployed. I tried unsuccessfully to get a small loan from the bank. I too am a lung patient with COPD, so we have a lot of medical expenses. Insurance is so much higher through my job than what my huband's job offered. So, I thank God for the check cashing payday services. They are willing to loan money WITHOUT my having perfect credit & I have always paid my account on time. They take the chance and have faith, something we can all learn from. Payday loans are an option people deserve to choose. I've used them in the past to pay rent or additional expenses. They are convenient which is especially helpful for me. I go online, direct deposit, no hassles. I know what I'm doing when I "sign on the line", I'm not being ripped off. There are times i would not have made it if not for that payday loan.

I need to know that there is always the option of a pay day loan. I have used it sometimes in the past, to pay my rent, when my car broke down,for emergency medical care, when my utilities were shut off and the list keeps groing. We used to have a pay advance center in my neighborhood, untill the state decided to close it's doors and we were stuck. Banks do not like to lend money unless you have money. Thank god i found cashnet on line it saved me from lots of grief. haven't had to use it lately but you never know what may come up. I am glad it's there for me when I need it.

My husband had unexpected heart surgery in 10/07, and due to him being out of work for over 3 mos. w/o any benefits we got behind on our car payments, and eventually lost our car.
